BlueSecurity server down?
recently handgestrickt netzwerk used Blue Frog from bluesecurity.com. Blue Frog is a tool that helps you fight spam actively. you report every incoming spam-mail to your personal Blue Frog email-address. this spam is analyzed. later the Blue Frog complaints on the spammers websites about the spam. the idea is: if the spammers get hundreds of complaints every day, they will give up spamming one day. additionally bluesecurity.com provides a database of emails to download, so the spammers have the chance to remove community-members. there is also a thunderbird-extension available for Blue Frog, which sends filtered spam directly to your Blue Frog email-address.
unfortunately the server cannot be reached for days now. what's up there? it seems a DDoS-attack crashed the service. some russian spammers striked back and DDoSes some domains around the world.
